The use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in research activities are becoming more and more common, especially when these activities involve several actors in different locations. In this regard, five main aims are stated:
1. Building a common knowledge background through the gathering and organizing information and produced documents by others (Fertilization).
2. Collecting and sharing information and knowledge produced during - and specifically for - the
research activity (Stabilization).
3. Designing and deploying information gathering instruments (Production).
4. Boosting comments and feedback -discussions- about information and gathered documents (Exploitation).
5. Analyzing the information in order to support research activities.- Docente: Jesus Insuasti
