This course has been designed for the students of the second semester to consolidate the basic syntactic and lexical foundations of English so that they can communicate in this language at a pre-intermediate level. The focus is on the development of communicative competence, on the one hand, and of learning strategies, on the other hand. 

The course is designed around the organization and resources presented in the textbook DOWNLOAD A2.2. Nonetheless, additional materials and topics will be included to provide students with enough exposure to a variety of English accents and contexts.
