Jesus Insuasti is a full-time professor in the Systems Engineering Department at the University of Nariño in southern Colombia, where he has dedicated over 30 years to advancing Educational and Computer Sciences. A graduate of the National Normal School of Pasto, he earned a Specialist and Master’s degree in University Teaching and a Ph.D. (cum laude) in Educational Sciences, all from the University of Nariño. Complementing his educational focus, he holds a Systems Engineering degree from the same institution and a 5-star Developer Certification by Microsoft LATAM. His achievements include an English Proficiency certification from San Jose State University (USA) through a Fulbright Scholarship, a Master of Science in Internet Systems (distinction) from The University of Liverpool (UK), and a Ph.D. in Engineering – Systems and Computer Science from the National University of Colombia. Dr. Insuasti has conducted research stays at institutions such as the University of Cádiz (Spain) and Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands), reflecting his global engagement and dedication to academic excellence.
